The National Treasury Employees Union is the Exclusive Bargaining Agent for I.R.S. employees. We at ( Local) Chapter #53 have long held that the IRS is one of the worst managed agencies in the Federal Government. It came as no surprise to us, therefore, to look at their official website and see the gross misrepresentations and distortions they make about working for the IRS. They do not believe that Truth in Advertising laws apply to them. No one should make a career choice based on faulty information. As new hires are our future members, we think you should know both sides of the story before taking a job with the IRS. They aren't going to tell you the truth, so, it is up to us. That way, you'll have no one to blame but yourself. |
