The Brooklyn Dodger
Greatest Hits
At the request of a former member (who is now a management flunky at Brookhaven Service Center so we can't identify him) we are going back through the archives to reproduce some of THE DODGER's more outrageous cartoons/stories.  This page will probably be under eternal construction because in 20 years of publishing there is a lot of material.
DILBERT is sometimes so close to IRS reality that it is scary.  This strip required little modification for the IRS.
This one,  a 1980-ish Hagar strip, has been reduced to mere nostalgia by the enactment of RRA '98.
There was a time when individual members submitted entries for the Dodger - a practice which we would like to resume.  The Wizard of Id formed the basis for this minimally altered entry.
The Far Side provided the format for this
classic back in the early 90's when the push for statistics was putting the IRS on the road to oblivion.

We could see it coming.  The bargaining unit could see it coming. Management couldn't see anything until it hit them between the eyes.
We didn't always use cartoons to make our point - sometimes the facts were funny enough, as with this 1994 story.  Hard as it may be to believe, this is an actual news story of an actual event.

You Can't Make This Stuff Up!
.
In the mid 90's we began running cartoons dealing with the increasingly serious problem of IDRS security.
