Having spoken to many of the new employees brought on by the IRS we have come to realize that they are not getting the full picture of what a career with the IRS entails. We took a look at the IRS' careers web site and we can see where the problem originates. Now, it is true that in many cases employers will mis-lead people about the joys of working for their particular company. Most of them do not have to cover up as many warts as the IRS however! In the interests of Truth in Advertising and to save ourselves a few problems down the road when new employees come to us with the sudden realization that working for the IRS is not what it is cracked up to be, we have created a new set of page designed to clear up some of the more lingering problems we have detected thusfar.
